Heath Ledger è stato inserito nella rosa dei candidati al Golden Globe come attore non protagonista. La nomination di Ledger, che ha già ottenuto due riconoscimenti postumi dall’Australian Film Institute e dalla Los Angeles Film Critics Association, è l'unica ottenuta dal film Il Cavaliere Oscuro nel quale Ledger ha interpretato la parte del Joker.
